Amelia Ong, Daughter of Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat, is CEO of OSKVI

TAN SRI ONG FOUNDED OSKVI TO INCUBATE TECH STARTUPS

OSK Ventures International Berhad (OSKVI)  was established by Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat in 2003 to support and incubate technology companies in Malaysia.  OSKVI was listed on the ACE Market on 8 September 2004. It is the private equity affiliate of OSK Holdings Berhad, a financial services and property development conglomerate.

CEO of OSKVI is Amelia Ong Yee Min, 39, daughter of Tan Sri Ong, Chairman of OSKVI. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance), and a  Bachelor of Computing, both from Monash University, Australia. Amelia worked in leading financial institutions in Hong Kong and Malaysia before joining OSKVI. She was appointed as ED on the board of OSKVI on 1 September 2011 and redesignated as CEO on 20 May 2022.

For FYE 31 December 2023  OSKVI reported total income of RM30.8million and profit after tax of RM23.9 million. New investments were made in Enterprise Tech and FinTech sector. OSKVI has invested in 37 companies. The portfolio's valuation stands at RM254.1 million. Amelia Ong said that OSKVI will prioritise new investments in companies that are leveraging digital solutions to optimize processes and unlock new value propositions. It is also strengthening its team to support founders in the 37 companies to enhance their value-creation efforts.
